Competence Center Requirements Engineering - Overview
Requirements Engineering (RE) is a part of the Software- and System-Development,
that addresses the Formulation, Analysis, Adjustment and structured Specification
of the Requirements on a System under development, the Management of Requirements
as well as the confident position of its adequate implementation in the System concept
design.
In the Competence Centre of the Requirements Engineering we focus on Concepts of the
model based Requirements Engineering, that means, we develop and use formalized Requirement-,
System- and Process model to support the duties of RE, before described, with specific
Methods and Specification Techniques and to allow systematic passage from informal requirements,
described in text-format, to independent and formal Requirements verifiable on the System-behaviour.
Our work includes:
Research together with Industrial partners and Research Institutes in the sphere of the model
based Requirements Engineering.
Consulting of Industrial partners in the field of Requirements Engineering (for example:
Evaluation and Concept development of Methods, Processes and Instruments).
Development of Models for specific domains, specification forms or also processes.
In the next web pages you find information about our Research Areas,
Projects,
People, and offers in the
