Fields of Interest

My primary focus lies on empirical and conceptual work in the field of requirements engnineering in context of development process models.

During my PhD project, I investigated how to use artefact orientation, i.e. the process-agnostic focus on RE artefact rather than on strict processes and methods, to establish a flexible requirements engineering approach. Since then, I am investigating, beyond other aspects, how to transfer and apply concepts of artefact orientation and concepts of empirical software engineering to systematically analyse and improve RE.

In summary, I focus on conceptual and empirical work in the fields of:
  • Requirements Engineering Analysis and Improvement
  • Artefact Orientation and (Organisational) Method Engineering
